At Pieland Honeymoon Safaris, we understand that travel plans can sometimes change. This policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for safari and honeymoon bookings made with us.
Booking Deposits
To confirm a safari or honeymoon package, a deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit allows us to secure accommodations, permits, transport, and other services needed for your trip.
In many cases, deposits are non refundable because they are used to reserve limited availability services such as gorilla trekking permits, safari lodges, and private guides.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your booking, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible in writing by email.
Refunds may depend on how far in advance the cancellation is made and on the policies of our partner lodges, hotels, and service providers. The closer the cancellation is to the travel date, the lower the potential refund may be due to pre paid reservations and supplier charges.
Changes to Bookings
If you need to change your travel dates or itinerary, we will do our best to accommodate your request. However, changes may be subject to availability and additional costs from accommodation providers, airlines, or park authorities.
Non Refundable Services
Certain travel services are strictly non refundable once booked. These may include but are not limited to gorilla trekking permits, park entry fees, and some discounted accommodation bookings.
We will always inform you in advance if a service falls under this category.
Refund Processing
If a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method where possible. Please allow reasonable processing time depending on banking systems and payment providers.
Travel Interruptions
Pieland Honeymoon Safaris is not responsible for refunds resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This may include weather conditions, flight cancellations, political situations, health emergencies, or other unforeseen events.
For this reason, we strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance before their trip.
